The traditional celebration of local holiday it getting closer. This time Day of Lavrica celebration is 12th in a raw. It is all day project, in which many volunteers and societies participate. Event is a set of sport, tourist, interest, and cultural activities for children, youth and adults. The location of the holiday day will be in front of kindergarten Škofljica, unit Bisernik, and POŠ Lavrica.

On Saturday, June 8th, 2019, the first smell will be of roasted onion on Goulash feast, as the teams will be competing in goulash cooking. Visitors will be able to visit various locations: athletes will compete in a football match, table tennis, and street basketball. Hikers will go to the Lisičje mansion, cyclists will take a trip around the Ljubljana marshes

In the afternoon, the organizer will prepare a varied children’s events with workshops, firefighting, and camping games, and parents will be able to take a walk between the stand where local companies and sponsors will represent themselves.

In the official part, they will give away local recognitions and hand over the key to a new fire truck to courageous firefighters. At the sounds of the ensemble Ponos, we will socialize until the early morning hours. Also this year, they prepared the raffle, take care for good and drinks.

PROGRAM

AFTERNOON ACTIVITIES (gathering for all at the event infront of new grammar school Lavrica)

  • 7.30 GOULASH FEAST – competition for best Mostar goulash
  • 7.30 FOOTBALL TOURNAMENT – 4 + 1 (playground in front of grammar school Lavrica)
  • 7.45 BASKETBALL TOURNAMENT OF THREES
  • 8.00 TABLE TENNIS (Home of the villagers Lavrica)
  • 8.30 MOUNTAIN CYCLING cross Golovec
  • 9.30 FAMILY HIKE TO THE LISIČJE MANSION
  • 9.30 FAMILY CYCLING TRIP AROUND LJUBLJANA MARSHES
  • 12.00 – 12.30 Arrival to the main event location, award ceremony, snack
  • 12.00 – 18.00 STANDS (presentation of sponsors and donors)

After good refreshment, we will see a firefighters exercise, which will be prepared by firefighters from Lavrica.

  • 18.00 Main cultural program, local award ceremony and handover the key of the fire truck
  • 19.00 Entertainment with ensemble Ponos, raffle and prize game Prosciutto
