Autumn hike
Highest peak of Karst region
The year is around and it is time for an already traditional Autumn hike on Trstelj, which every year happens on first November’s Sunday.
After the hike, there will be a lecture about preventative management – for protection against winter sickness on herbal farm Rogelja. Herbalist Magda will answer all of your questions.

The gathering is on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 at 9 a.m. in front of the former village school in Vojščica on Karst, where registrations will be held. The start is foreseen for about 9.30 a.m..

Route of a medium-demanding circular hike, which takes about 12 kilometers, will go on Karst forest paths, namely from Vojščica towards the highest peak of Slovenian Karst, named Trstelj, and back. Along the hike, accompanied by a trained guide, hikers will have the opportunity to learn about the natural and cultural heritage of the Karst.

The price for the hike is 8 euros and includes lunch at the finish (in case you want a special meal, contact the organizer), introductory and intermediate aperitif, energy snack, guidance, and music surprise. For those, who do not want their lunch, the price is 4 euros.
For children up to 10 years of age, the hike is free!

In the end, there will be a selection of the youngest and the oldest hiker. And maybe even more.
Herbalist Magda Rogelja from Vojščica and from Herbal farm Rogelja will after the hike and lunch, around 15.30, prepare a short lecture about preventative management – for protection against winter sickness. The lecture will be held on Herbal farm Rogelja, Vojščica 32, 5296 Kostanjevica na Krasu, not far from the start/finish place.
In case of bad weather, the hike will be canceled. In the case of light rain or cloudy weather, the hike will take place!
Equipment: Suitable clothes and shoes!
