Hop na Grad (Hop on the Castle) is a charity event that helps children who are treated at the University Children’s Hospital in Ljubljana. All the money from donations and registrations will be donated to the Foundation for Pediatric Clinic. The event also promotes a healthy lifestyle and connects people who want to give back to the community from which they originate.

The event is organized by running enthusiasts who are employed at the University Children’s Hospital in Ljubljana, with the help of athletes and donors. We are supported by the University Medical Centre Ljubljana and the Foundation for Pediatric Clinic.

At the 1st Hop na Grad event (2017) we collected money for the purchase of a child sized endoscope, while at the 2nd Hop na Grad (2018) we collected money to buy a bio-impedance device for measuring the body composition. Each year, the event attracts about 700 runners of all ages from all over Slovenia..
