Church of St. Anthony of Padua

Branch church of St. Anthony of Padua in Fužine above Ajdovščina.

Not far from Hubelj spring is church of St. Anthony of Padua. Main western facade is highlighted with a rectangular portal, moonable window above it and a stone bellflower, which rises above the ridge of the roof.

Inside is very interesting mirror ceiling, enriched with stucco frame. The main and both side altars are from 18th century. Main altar has a very diverse picture. Above altar gateway are standing contemporaneous plastics of St. Anthony of Padua and John Nepomuk. Altar pictures are from 19th century. The church was renovated in year 1990.

In the vicinity of the church are foundries that worked between 15th and 19th century.
