Church in Janče was built in year 1796, it is dedicated to St. Nicholas. It was erected initially from a chapel, hollowed to St. Nicholas, and serves today as the presbytery. Church is of baroque appearence from first half of the 18th century. The church has three altars. Main altar is hallowed to St. Nicholas, side altars are hollowed to Mary immaculate and Sacred heart of Jesus. Around the church there is quite an extensive cemetery, where inbuilt tombstone plates from the beginning of 19th century can be found. These are the oldest tombstones in municipality Ljubljana. The entrance is marked with two chapels, left is hollowed to Our lady of Sorrow, the right to St. Nicholas. Chapels are connected with an arch, which was created around the year 1880. Right behind the entrance, on the facade, is a memorial plaque to fallen soldiers from WWI. Church bell was built in year 1830.
