Forest didactic path Panovec is sixth opened path in the raw in Slovenia, it was made in year 1981. The route runs at altitudes ranging from 50 to 140 meters. Along the way we get to know different kinds of trees, some of them are protected species.

We can join the route from three different directions – from the resovoir along the stream Koren at the tunnel Panovec, from the building MIP in Kromberk and from Forestry house at Rožna dolina. The symbol of the forest didactic path is Holly, shrubby plant, and in Slovenia protected since 1922 onwards.
