On Sunday, 13. August 2023 at 4 pm, a traditional event STRŽIŠČE FAIR 2023 will take place in Stržišče in Baška grapa, in the middle of this world. The event offers beautiful view towards Porezen, Kojca and Črna prst. Everyone who know the land from Slatnik to Lajnar towards Črna prst and Rodica, will not think twice to say that this is very beautiful part of Slovenia. Happening will start at 4 o’clock.

This year’s arrival to the event will be specially magnificent, as the location is in addition to informational board Stržišče augmented with view point with balcony, which was edited by locals. There you can stop your step and enjoy in the views it offers.

Organizers KTT Society Baška heritage and Local community Stržišče will to visitors in a few words loosen the roots of this holiday, which extend back in time, when the every day was regulated by the nature. The event is partially financed by municipality Tolmin.

People were caught in work for bread, into effort for life and into love for the land. In time of the fair, the time of harvest has already passed, and if the weather was ok also grass cutting. The earth already tightens the grains of turnip and buckwheat with new growth. Time has come, stopped for pleasure, for meetings, for dance, … And to that joy of socializing, the chronic of ancient times will address also this year.
