The church of St. Martin was built in year 1509, but in year 1673 it was restored and part of it was built anew. It was paved with stone slabs, covered with stone and hid, with wooden choir, which stood on four stone pillars. The church was rebuilt and resized in year 1878 and the next year was blessed by the local priest Joseph Koman. Fully built was in year 1889.

The church is built in Renaissance style, its patron is bishop St. Martin. The church has three naves; the highest and largest is the middle one, which is with high frontal arch separated from the presbytery. Walls are not painted, but whitewashed and the roof is made of brick. It has three entrances, main entrance is at facade.

In naves, the church is paved with grey and black stone tiles.

Opposite to the main entrance to the church of St. Martin is a church bell, which was built in year 1794. It is 30 meters high and has four big lines. The top of the tower presents eighth-sided pyramid. The bell is without roughcast. In the church bell is the clock, made by Ivan Pogačnik from Podnart.
