Forest didactic path Tripoint is natural didactic path. The purpose of this trail is focused primarily on the natural history, geology, forestry education and learning about forest plants and animals.

Opening the path was on 1 July 2000. Route lies in the complex of state forests, that is 22.85 ha big. Tidy path is 2.6 kilometers long and circular. It takes 2 hours to come around. The path begins at the starting point in Trdkova, where on altitude of 289 meter is parking space. The first part of the trail climby sleeply, while the second part goes down. The route runs mostly in the woods. On the way there are 13 stations with learning content, which encourage walkers to experience the nature with all their senses: listening, touching, smelling … Friendly hedgehog is leading us thru, who also points out what and how much you should do in the woods.

It is intended for learning together with nature: this is the way to get the full measure of nature and at the same time, protect, preserve and take it the the way man during the centuries created it with sustainable management. Learning points shows us an analysis of tree growth, we recognize different kinds of trees, we test our olfactory abilities, we listen to the birds singing, learn about food chain, …

Tripoint
Tripoint is a geographical point on the north-eastern part of Slovenia, intersection of three borders of Slovenia, Austria and Hungary. It is located on top of small hill, with altitude 390 meters, about 1 kilometer away from village Trdkova in landscape Goričko. [_Read more_]
