On June 25th Slovenia celebrates the national day. It is Slovenian national holiday, on which Slovenia commemorates the memory on June 25th 1991, when it formally became independent. On this day Declaration of independence of Slovenia and Fundamental constitutional list of independency of Slovenia was accepted. National day is a work free day.

As a fact we add, that on the same day Croatia declared independence from Yugoslavia.
